COTTON UNIVERSITY ADMISSSION: The Office of the Academic Registrar, Cotton University recently released a notification regarding Admission to BA Honours programmes (except Mass Communication & Journalism) in Cotton University for 2021-22. The admission for BA Honours shall begin on 21 October, 2021.
On Day-I (21 October 2021), students having marks 495 to 469 (English plus best 4) will be allowed to take part in the admission process. The time slots for admission on 21st October,2021 allotted to candidates is listed below:
Candidates will be allowed to log in to the Admission Portal only during the specified slots, reserved against their respective English plus best 4 marks. Time slots are tentative, the candidates are asked to check the webpage periodically for any notified changes of the same.
STEPS TO BE FOLLOWED FOR ADMISSION INTO BA HONOURS 1st SEMESTER IN COTTON UNIVERSITY, 2021-2022:
4. Enter your User ID and Password for login to your admission Portal.
5. Click on Click to go.
6. Click on the View Merit List Status
7. Click on Apply for Admission for selecting your desired honours subject.
8. click on Proceed button.
A 4 digit OTP will be sent to your CU registered mobile number.
9. Enter the four digit OTP and click on Submit button.
10. Click on Complete Admission Process.
11. Select your desired GENERIC ELECTIVE (GE) subject.
12. Select the language subject that you have studied in your 10+2.
13. Click on the Submit button.
14. Click on Pay Now.
15. After you successfully make your fee payment, you will be redirected to the admission dashboard. 16. Download Admission Acknowledgment and Identity Card.

NATIONAL ELIGIBILITY CUM ENTRANCE TEST is popularly known as NEET-UG conducted by National Testing Agency (NTA) on Sunday, 12 September 2021 as a uniform entrance examination for admission to MBBS/BDS/BAMS/BSMS/BUMS/BHMS and other undergraduate medical courses. According to sources, NEET 2021 result will declare at the end of October.

As per National Testing Agency (NTA), the option to challenge the provisional answer key closes today. And after checking the challenges made by the candidates against the provisional answer key, experts will suggest the final answer key. And WHEN final key is ready NEET 2021 result will be announced by the national testing agency (NTA). The result will be declared on nta.ac.in. NEET 2021 result Tentatively by October 24, 2021.

The Office of The Director of The Higher Education, Assam has recently released a notification regarding the Assam COMBINED MERIT SCHOLARSHIP, 2021 for both General Degree and Master Degree students. The starting date of submission of online application is 30th September 2021 and last date of submission of online application is 26th October 2021.
Combined Merit Scholarship is a financial assistance from the Assam government to the student who is in General degree (TDC) and Master degree course. Applicants can submit their physical form to directorate. The last date of submission of physical form to directorate is 10th November 2021.

1) For UG courses: To be eligible for this scholarship scheme the student must have a minimum of 60% marks in his/her Higher Secondary Final Examination.
2) For PG courses: To be eligible for this scholarship scheme the student must have a minimum of 60% marks in his/her General Degree Course.
Eligibility Criteria for the Combined Merit Scholarship:
1) Students studying general Degree and Master Degree Course in Arts/Science/Commerce in any recognized institution for the session 2021-22 are eligible for the schemes.
2) The students must be a domicile of Assam (PRC document mandatory).
3) The students must have a valid Bank Account in his/her name (Preferably SBI).
4) The Selection will be made strictly based on merit in all cases.

The Department of Elementary Education, Government of Assam has released a notification on 14/09/201 regarding the TEACHER’S ELIGIBILITY TEST 2021 for both Upper Primary(UP) and Lower Primary(LP) levels. Assam TET Exam 2021 will be held on 24th October 2021 and the online Application Form submission process has been started from 15th September 2021.

In provision of Section 23 of the RTE Act – 2009, Department of Elementary Education, Assam has published an advertisement for both Lower primary(LP) and Upper Primary(UP) Teachers Post. The examination type will be offline. Candidates are invited to submit their Application form at Assam TET 2021 official website.
