Rahul Dravid to Become Head Coach of India’s Main Cricket Team after T20 World Cup:

              Former captain of the Indian national cricket team, and Director of National Cricket Academy Rahul Sharad Dravid all set to be the next head coach of the Indian national men’s cricket team. And is in line to take over once finishes up the present head coach Ravi Shastri at the end of the upcoming T20 World Cup. According to sources, if things fall in place, Rahul will head coach for the home series against New Zealand starting late November held in India.

Present Indian head coach Ravi Shastri had appointed as head coach from 2017 to 2019. Shastri was reappointed for another two years in August 2019. His current term will close with the ending of ICC T20 World Cup 2021. So after the world cup, India needs a new Head coach for which the BCCI has not yet formally advertised.

        In the absence of Ravi Shastri, Dravid has traveled with India’s limited-overs team to the Sri Lanka tour as the head coach with captain Shikhar Dhawan. And he proves that he doesn’t need an audition for the India head coach position. Rahul is also a long-term associate at the National Cricket Academy as well as the India A and Under-19 set-ups.

According to BCCI after the T20 world cup, there are some biggest developments in the Indian national cricket team. The news confirms on Friday during the IPL final. This happened in Dubai when BCCI president Sourav Ganguly and secretary Jay Shah held a meeting with Dravid and guaranteed him to become the coach of the Indian National cricket team after the T20 World Cup.

    A top BCCI official told after the final match of IPL 2021 that “Rahul has confirmed he will be the next head coach of the Indian national cricket team. He will be discontinued as the head of the NCA soon.”

 Also according to a news source BCCI need a strong candidate to take Indian cricket forward and Rahul worked so hard to build a strong lineup for future Indian cricket. Sourav Ganguly and BCCI president Jai Shah thought it would be best if they could bring Rahul as an after the T20 world cup.
